The Bespoke Process

Initial Consultation

We absolutely love creating deeply personal pieces. During initial consultation we go over the idea and inspiration what you would like to capture, narrow down metals and possible gemstones within the budget and after that we start sketching. This consultation is complimentary.

The sketch for A. features the opalescent sapphire in our Whimsical Solitaire style as his partner wanted a Lord of the Rings inspired design.

Design

We come up with the sketches that capture the essence of your piece and finalize the elements. We source the gemstones for your design and sometimes they have to be custom cut. After confirming the design and the gemstones you will be provided with the detailed tax invoice. We require 50% non-refundable deposit to start working.

A. has chosen opalescent sapphire in rich grass green colour as a best match to his partner skin undertone.

Each scroll is placed for the most elegant proportions based on the ring size and band parameters

Preparing the leaves

After the scrolls are placed now it is time to prepare the leaves by rolling the gold into sheet and saw piercing it into desired shape.

One by one

Each leaf is placed by hand to the best spot on each particular ring for the most fluid design allowing natural flow

The structure is now complete

All elements are in place, now it is the time to refine and detail.

Completion

Usually it takes up to 4 weeks for us to handmake your piece from start to finish. Once it is complete we will be in touch with photos and video of the piece and request the final balance.

The ring came together as magical as it can be and it embodies the Middle Earth atmosphere.
